JOB TITLE: White Collar Crime Lawyer
LOCATION: London
SALARY: to £190,000
A top-tier global law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious White-Collar Crime and Investigations Lawyer to join their team during an exciting period of growth.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will manage both internal and external investigations, handling contentious and non-contentious criminal and regulatory matters, as well as civil litigation. Responsibilities include advising companies and corporate executives on business-related criminal and regulatory issues, such as:
- Money laundering
- Bribery and corruption
- Financial and trade sanctions
- Export controls
- Corporate investigations
- Health and safety
- Financial institution trading regulations
The role also involves advising on internal investigations, mass tort litigation, health and safety prosecutions, and government enforcement actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting investigations, prosecutions, and settlement discussions with the UK Serious Fraud Office
- Managing internal investigations into bribery, corruption, money laundering, sanctions violations, health and safety violations, and export control violations for clients, particularly in the energy sector
- Engaging with US federal criminal and civil regulators
Candidate Requirements
- Stellar academic background
- Experience gained within a top city law firm
- Strong expertise in managing complex investigations and regulatory matters
- Proven ability to handle high-stakes litigation and provide strategic advice to corporate clients
