Tate is working with a global supply chain solutions provider, renowned for delivering top-tier logistical services to some of the world’s most iconic brands. They’re on the lookout for a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join their dynamic team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Supply Planner, you’ll be at the heart of the supply chain operation, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. Your role will involve:
Forecasting Demand
Using historical data and market insights to build accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to refine projections and improve forecast accuracy.
Planning Supply
Create and manage supply plans that align with demand forecasts. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Managing Inventory
Balance stock levels to meet customer needs while minimising excess. Conduct regular reviews and address slow-moving or obsolete items.
Supplier Engagement
Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms and monitor performance to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Order Oversight
Handle purchase orders from placement to delivery. Resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth order flow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with teams across production, logistics, sales and customer service to align supply chain activities with business goals.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
Background in FMCG, retail, or food sectors.
A process-driven mindset with a track record of driving change and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
