Store Manager – Balham, London

Salary: £35,000–£37,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: 45 hours per week (flexible – pro-rated options available) 
Schedule: Daytime hours, 5pm finish

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join a well-established grab-and-go brand based in Balham, South London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in branded, grab-and-go, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), or coffee-led environments, who is ready to take ownership of a store and grow with a brand that has exciting expansion plans ahead.

 

The role:

As Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, efficient team management, and strong commercial performance. You’ll lead by example to deliver excellent results and maintain a positive, motivated team culture.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day store operations including staffing, stock control, and service delivery.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales and service targets.

  • Ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Monitor key performance indicators and control labour, stock, and waste costs.

  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene.

  • Drive store performance and contribute to the wider brand success.

 

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager within a branded, grab-and-go, QSR, or coffee-led concept is strongly preferred.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Commercially aware and confident managing budgets, targets, and operational costs.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and developing your team.

  • Energetic, ambitious, and eager to grow with a business that values initiative and drive.
