This role will operate from their head office site in Manchester City Centre and the successful applicant will play a key role in the production of the management accounts.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Senior Management Accountant will include:

  • Manage and oversee all facets of the Management Accounting operations.
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis and present findings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Actively studying towards professional accounting certification ideally few exams remaining.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
