Description
As the Senior Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Lead the Instrumentation Team or 2 to 5 members, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient operations.
- This includes skill development, recruitment, and career development.
- Specify electro-pneumatic and servo-hydraulic components for test rigs and ensure that suitable electronic controllers are selected.
- Liaise with suppliers to develop control and data acquisition systems.
- Maintain electronic control and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with the latest safety regulations.

- Develop technical solutions to meet engineering and customer testing requirements.
Profile
A successful Senior Instrumentation Engineer should have:
- Demonstrable experience as an instrumentation engineer.
- Team management experience.
- Engineering degree or HND in Electronic/Electrical/Calibration/Instrumentation Engineering.
- Understanding of legislation and regulations for calibration and maintenance of test rigs.
- Familiarity with the latest test engineering methods, technologies, and software.
- Experience with health and safety (H&S) requirements in a testing environment.
- Experience in R&D environment.
- Computer literacy with a proven track record of using technical software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in planning and time management.
