Description
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
- Conduct all necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date.
- Ensure that all necessary documents are completed and maintained to comply with laws and regulations.
- Develop periodic reports for management.
- Audit systems and prepare for annual audits.
- Implement financial policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain financial practices throughout the organisation.
- Work with tax returns and analyse financial information.
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in the life sciences industry.
- Excellent understanding of tax laws and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
