Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke products. Being a low-volume manufacturer, they ensure quality in every item they manufacture. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they are currently looking to recruit a new production manager- the ideal candidate has knowledge of fabrication as well as low-volume, bespoke manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and Manage production- ensuring materials and equipment are available
- Monitor and drive KPIs
- Streamline production and reduce inefficiencies on the shopfloor
- Oversee a team of around 20
- Man Manage the team- addressing issues and compiling solutions
- Liaising with engineering and design
- Deliver continuous improvements
- Assist the quality and health and safety department to ensure compliance at all times
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Have leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Have knowledge and experience of low-volume, bespoke manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills with experience in change and people management
- An engineering backgroun, preferably within fabrication
