Our client is a top 100 international law firm with a leading reputation for Planning work.
We have fresh instructions to recruit a NQ Planning Solicitor into their highly ranked and successful team in Newcastle. This is a rare opportunity and a NQ Solicitor with a passion to specialise in planning would be hard placed to find a better opportunity.
The successful Planning Solicitor can expect to work on large high-profile developments managing a mixed caseload of a variety of planning matters to include but not limited to, planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, to contentious planning matters such as enforcement, compulsory purchase, judicial reviews, statutory challenges and appeals.
Your portfolio of clients will include local authorities, housebuilders and landowners and you’ll enjoy building and strengthening relationships with key decision maker client contacts at these organisations.
Due to exceptional growth, our client will consider candidates from NQ + with a passion for this specialism together with those more experienced Lawyers seeking their next career move. At the NQ level, our client is looking for someone with a training seat in planning at a similar sized practice with a passion to specialise in this sector.
The ideal candidate should be technically proficient and an excellent communicator able to demonstrate strong developing relationships with both clients and colleagues.
