An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip company, responsible for the manufacture of PG Tips, is currently recruitment Packing Operatives, based at Trafford Park, Manchester. This is a full-time, temporary role for a period of 2 months, with the possibility that this will be extended. One role is to cover extended maternity leave. These roles will include 3 rotating shifts to include nights, paying £13.07 per hour.
3 Rotating Shift Pattern, all shift will have to be worked on a rotating weekly pattern

  • Early Shifts: 6:50am to 2.00pm, or 06:50 to 3:00pm.
  • Lates Shifts: 1:50pm – 9:00pm or 1:50pm to 10:00pm
  • Night Shifts: 9:50pm to 7:00am

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

  • Manual unfolding, filling and hooding of a Trade unit box with cartons of finished products.
  • Putting on to the conveyor for labelling, removing at the other end and manually stacking.
  • Assisting operator with Carton loading, reel loading and Hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Manually logging material usage for traceability.
  • Support of rework area as required supporting the management of rework stock

    • Checking reworked product relabelling/coding correct
    • Checking work completion to current site standards

    • Ensure correct completion of paperwork

Job Tenure: Contract and Full-Time
