Overview
This role will require a creative and dynamic NPD Product Designer to lead and innovate in the design and development of new products in the retail industry. Description
- Leading the design and development of new products
- Collaborating with the Manufacturing team to align design with strategic objectives
- Providing creative input to enhance product innovation
- Contributing to product line success through innovative design
- Working closely with production teams to ensure design feasibility
- Participating in product review and improvement processes
- Staying updated on industry trends to inform design decisions
- Ensuring all design activities adhere to company guidelines and standards
Profile
A successful NPD Product Designer should have:
- A strong background in consumer jewellery product design – both freehand and computer-aided
- Proven experience in leading design projects
- Creative flair and a passion for innovation
- Solid understanding of the jewellery industry and market trends
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- A degree in Design or related field
