Description
- Manage and develop key grocery channel accounts, ensuring effective account management and strong customer relationships.
- Drive sales growth by implementing strategic plans tailored to each account, focusing on volume, profit, and market share targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, and finance) to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key customers, analysing performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate terms, promotional plans, and pricing strategies with grocery accounts to maximise profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting, maintaining up-to-date account information and sales pipelines.
- Deliver against sales targets and KPIs set for the duration of the contract.
Profile
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or similar role within the FMCG sector, MUST have experience managing the grocery channel.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
