Overview

This Management Accountant position offers exposure across multiple financial disciplines, including management accounting, business partnering, and process improvement projects. You’ll have direct exposure to senior stakeholders including non-financial as part of a lean finance team.

Description

This role will involve a large amount of exposure to non-financial stakeholders as it has a commercial element. Your role will include although will not be limited to:

  • Business partnering with Managers and assisting with forecasts
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing management accounts for each site dotted across the UK (no travel required, split out geographically between the team)
  • Producing a monthly Board and shareholders report
  • Performing analysis reviews to identify any errors / discrepancies
  • Assisting with new acquisitions
  • Supporting with statutory accounts / audit, VAT, etc. (limited, although option to pick more of this up if preferred)

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should:

  • Possess a relevant CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification or be at the very end of your studies and possess relevant experience
  • Be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Have good communication skills with the ability to share insights with stakeholders in a clear manner
  • Possess great organisational skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Job Offer

  • Salary in the region of £45,000 to £55,000, level dependent on experience plus bonus (circa 10%)
  • Based from the offices in Warrington
