Description
The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.

Analyse financial performance and forecasts.

Investigate and report variances to senior management.

Collaborate with the wider finance team to enhance financial procedures.

Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.

Assist in the preparation of yearly forecasts and statutory accounts.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:

Previous experience looking after the end to end Management Accounts function.

An active part-qualified studier (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

Proficiency in relevant accounting software packages and strong MS excel skills.

Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.

Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

A salary range of £40,000 – £50,000 per year based on experience.
