Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports to support business planning.
- Analyse variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely data.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes.
- Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies for optimisation.
- Assist in preparing presentations for senior management.
- Provide support during audits by liaising with external auditors and ensuring records are accurate.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Ideally working towards recognised qualification in accounting or finance or suitably qualified by experience
- Proven experience in management accounting within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
