Description

The junior HR Business Partner will have responsibility for the following:

  • Work with managers and key stakeholders to help build the people capability, focusing on recruitment, retention, engagement and the overall employee experience.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to support the business strategy from a people perspective, including recruitment of new talent, retention of key people and reward strategies.
  • Use HR information systems to gather people data and insights on key people metrics such as absence, staff turnover, cost per hire etc
  • Provide a proactive HR service, including employee relations, resourcing, people development, performance management & reward, as well involvement in workforce planning and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law requirements by keeping up to date with new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising manager on actions as appropriate.
  • Work with the HR team to create and maintain a company culture and people approach which supports the business strategy.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the people strategies and plans, including employee engagement initiatives.
  • Effectively manage employee relations cases.
  • Create and update people policies and procedures.
  • Manage internal employee communications and events.

Profile

The junior HR Business Partner role is ideal for an experienced advisor looking to gain partnering experience. You will need to be/have:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources, either in a HR Generalist, Advisor or Business Partner role
  • CIPD qualified or working towards ideally
  • Experience of dealing with end to end employee relations processes
  • The ability to influence at all levels
  • Proactive nature
  • Available to start a new role immediately or on short notice
