JOB TITLE: International Arbitration Lawyer
LOCATION: London
SALARY: to £193,000
A top global law firm is seeking an ambitious lawyer with 2-4 years of post-qualified experience to join its London team, to work alongside a highly acclaimed hall of fame partner. The team is renowned for its extensive experience in energy disputes across the MENA and CIS regions, as well as international construction and shareholder-related arbitrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle high-value and complex international arbitrations in the energy, infrastructure, construction, telecommunications, and financial sectors.
Manage disputes over Joint Operating Agreements, construction and off-take agreements for refineries and petrochemical plants, and issues related to rig operations, energy trading, coal, and nuclear power plants.
Represent clients in multi-jurisdictional disputes, focusing on infrastructure, shareholder, and financial disputes.
Conduct arbitrations under the auspices of major institutions, including LCIA, ICC, DIAC, Swiss, Stockholm, Hong Kong, and UNCITRAL Rules.
Advocate for both investors and states in bilateral investment treaties and ICSID cases.
First-class academics and experience within a top-tier international arbitration team in London are essential. Proficiency in an additional language is required, with Mandarin being a significant advantage.
Additional Information:
The firm has a realistic chargeable hours target of 1700, providing a balanced and sustainable work environment.
