Description

  • Lead and manage VAT compliance processes, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert VAT advisory services to internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor and evaluate tax legislation changes and their impact on the organisation.
  • Oversee VAT planning and optimisation initiatives to support the company’s financial goals.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate tax reporting and risk management.
  • Prepare and deliver VAT training sessions for relevant internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in VAT-related activities.

Profile

A successful Group VAT Manager should have:

  • A professional tax qualification or equivalent experience in VAT management.
  • Strong expertise in VAT compliance, advisory, and planning within the UK.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Leadership, people management & stakeholder management experience
  • The ability to communicate technical tax matters clearly to non-specialists.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary £80,000 to £85,000 per annum.
