Group Consolidation Accountant – FX and Payments

  • Prepare and submit accurate financial statements in compliance with regulations.
  • Group level consolidation.
  • Technical Accounting treatment under FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Oversee FX transactions and ensure financial records are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for financial growth.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Drive process improvements within the finance department.
  • Advise on financial decisions and risk management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.

Group Consolidation Accountant – FX and Payments

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of FX and payment processes or similar lending environment (could be Retail Bank, Business Bank, non-banking mortgage lender, cards, fintech, etc).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Spanish languages a nice to have but not essential.
