We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Operations Manager to oversee our Accounting & Finance department within our Life Science division, based in Gloucester.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable processes.
  • Review and approve payment runs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and audits.
  • Sync inventory receipts and revenue/CoGs monthly.
  • Develop and support the finance team.
  • Implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • ACCA/CIMA (experience of greater value)
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with MS Teams, Sage Intacct, and Outlook is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented
  • Capable of multitasking and managing complex priorities

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £40,000 to £52,000 per annum
