Description
This is a hands-on finance leadership position with broad responsibility across all key financial operations. You’ll oversee accounts payable and receivable, maintain accurate general ledger records, manage payroll and banking functions, and ensure compliance with tax and VAT obligations.
You’ll be accountable for delivering clear and timely financial reporting – including monthly management accounts, statutory statements, and regulatory submissions – while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen financial systems and internal controls.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, you’ll provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. In addition, you’ll lead on all external financial relationships, including liaison with auditors, banks, and HMRC. You’ll also take charge of mentoring and growing a small but capable finance team, currently consisting of one direct report.

Qualified by Experience / ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Proven experience in a similar finance management role
