Description
Key Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day financial management of the manufacturing site

Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports

Drive operational and commercial analysis to support margin improvement and cost control

Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis

Collaborate with the site leadership team to improve financial performance and productivity

Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
-
Monitor inventory, production costing, and overheads to ensure financial accuracy
-
Act as a finance business partner across departments, challenging and supporting where needed

Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial standards
Profile
-
Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

Strong experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally food/FMCG
-
Proven track record in operational and commercial finance

Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills

Experience managing and developing small teams

Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented

Comfortable being site-based and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
