The Finance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the accounting and finance operations in a global function. You’ll be working for one of the largest international architecture businesses; they require a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the successful management of transactional financial processes.

Description
- Record daily financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and coordination with management.
- Collaborate with the external payroll provider to manage the UK payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission, with a view to taking full ownership in the future.
- Oversee payroll for a small Middle East team (6-10 employees), working closely with local accountants to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Act as a liaison with external accountants as directed by the CFO.
- Assist with VAT and tax filings, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
Profile
- Over 2 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting roles.
- Solid bookkeeping expertise with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience working in international or multi-entity environments, ideally including operations in the Middle East.
- Holds relevant financial qualifications.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic at a professional level.
