Brand Manager  – Sports Retail Merchandising 

We’re looking for a driven and forward-thinking Brand Manager to lead the creative and strategic development of brand concepts from idea through to in-store and digital execution. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape how customers engage with sports offering across a dynamic and evolving business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sports, retail, and branding, and who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, internal teams, and global brand partners to deliver inspiring, commercially effective brand experiences across all touchpoints.

The role:

  • Drive the creative process for sports branding, aligning concepts with wider business objectives and delivering campaigns that engage target audiences both in-store and online.
  • Develop commercially impactful brand experiences through storytelling, design, and execution, managing briefs and working with internal teams and external creative partners.
  • Work closely with departments including Buying, Marketing, Digital, and Visual Merchandising to ensure brand alignment, while partnering with global sports brands on joint activations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing creative team, promoting innovation, setting clear objectives, and creating a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Shape long-term brand strategies, adopt new design tools and technologies, and continuously improve processes to increase creative impact and efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor ROI, and ensure seamless planning across business and brand calendars to deliver consistent, results-driven outputs.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a brand or creative leadership role, ideally within retail, fashion, or sports.
  • A strong portfolio of commercially impactful branding work, with experience in delivering across physical and digital environments.
  • Confident leadership skills with experience managing creative or brand teams.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong eye for design, with an up-to-date understanding of branding, trends, and consumer behaviour.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
