Description
- Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets to support decision-making processes.
- Handle reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Support accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed.
- Maintain and update financial records for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting procedures.
- Provide input on financial policy development and implementation.
- Respond to financial queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An understanding of financial processes and regulations.
- Either be studying towards or have a willingness to pursue a recognised accounting qualification.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
